Pre-Installation Consulting

A dated installation plan is developed by us and the client that includes: the scheduling of supervisor training, specific cabling implementation, and a description of the installation requirements (e.g. hardware, software, manuals, user profiles, etc.).

File Server Set-up

Loading and installing the network operating system and installing the network interface cards.  Look at ON-SITE INSTALLATION SUPPORT.

Firewall/Proxy/Email Server Set-up

The installation of the firewall/proxy/email software and network interface cards, the installation of the appropriate client software on the workstations if applicable.

On-site Installation Support

Assisting the network supervisor with installing application software and users, developing custom log-in scripts and security schemes, defining print spooling options, activating features, installing UPS systems, hard disk drives, tape backup subsystems, print servers.  Look at FILE SERVER SET-UP.

Printers Set-up

Installing printers, print servers (if applicable), and software necessary to allow access by workstations to the network printers, as well as local printers.

Workstation Set-up

Installing the network interface card, connecting and troubleshoot network connectivity between workstation and server.

Post-installation Consulting

Client provides feed-back after evaluating network.  All unresolved issues or problems, if any, are either solved immediately, or are documented for resolution.

Wireless Networking

We can configure your network or broadband connection to have wireless workstations.  We have configured the following services with wireless routers: DSL, RoadRunner, Windows Wireless LAN.

Pre-paid Block Time Support Services (no Expiration)

On-site Technical Support is available on a pre-paid basis.  Includes troubleshooting, failure/recovery assistance, swapping out defective components, support calls, and printer installations.  Pre-paid blocks are available in 10-hour units, and are discounted standard rates (not valid for overtime hours or new server installs).
